Security Officer responsible for providing security detail per post orders, patrolling buildings and perimeters, controlling entrances, escorting material and personnel, monitoring CCTV and emergency procedures, and maintaining a professional, customer-service oriented presence while reporting incidents and maintaining required post documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Be on time and report to post in full uniform
- Maintain professional image that includes greeting customers, visitors and employees in a polite and friendly manner
- Patrol physical property or maintain fixed post position
- Monitor cameras or equipment
- Know emergency policies, procedures and regulations
- Complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports and logs
- Communicate with Security Supervisor about new issues
- Knowledge of life safety systems and related equipment
- Ensure training and compliance guidelines are met
