Retail Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain professional image and customer service. Manage entrances and movement of traffic, patrol buildings and perimeters, escort materials and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and handle special assignments. Duties may vary by department size/post; comply with ADA accommodations; report to post in full uniform; greet customers politely; stay updated on post orders; monitor cameras; complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Books and Incident Reports; assist in safety and loss prevention improvements; have knowledge of life safety systems and maintain operation of elevators and access doors; ensure compliance with training guidelines; communicate security issues daily with Security Supervisor.
