Job Summary
Retail Security Officer responsible for controlling entrances, patrolling facilities and perimeters, escorting materials and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and performing special assignments per post orders. Maintain a professional image, greet customers politely, stay current with post orders, monitor surveillance and life-safety equipment, document incidents and activities, and coordinate with security leadership. Emphasizes vigilance, customer service, teamwork, and adherence to procedures to ensure safety and loss prevention across assigned locations.
Required Qualifications

- Be on time and report to post in full uniform
- Maintain professional image and greet customers
- Maintain knowledge of post orders and information from customer
- Patrol property or fixed post
- Monitor cameras/equipment per post orders
- Knowledge of life safety systems and fire panels
- Ensure operation of elevators and doors
- Complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
- Communicate with Security Supervisor about issues
- Strong customer service and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to follow directions and work with urgency
- Strong oral and written communication skills
