Job Summary
Assess existing Microsoft Azure architectures to identify security risks and recommend practical mitigation measures. Contribute to the design and implementation of secure cloud environments, including network segmentation, access controls, and workload isolation. Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to integrate security into operations, while supporting Identity and Access Management initiatives within Microsoft Entra ID. Assist in investigating cloud and identity security incidents by analyzing logs and telemetry, then work with internal teams and external partners to improve detection capabilities and incident response processes. Identify vulnerabilities and hardening opportunities to prioritize remediation based on technical and business risk.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles with a strong focus on security
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Good understanding of: Cloud security principles and best practices, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Network security concepts
- Experience implementing or supporting security controls such as MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess technical risks and recommend practical security improvements
- Comfortable working in environments with a limited security tooling stack
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
