Job Summary
Retail Scan Associate position in Lexington, NE and KEARNEY, NE (on-site). Part-time role averaging 3–4 hours per week across designated stores, with additional hours for special projects and peak periods. Responsibilities include visiting assigned retailers weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles using a mobile app, collecting data (approximately 45% quantity verification per week), and supporting client requirements across various store types (grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise) for major brands like Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and others. Opportunities for consistent work year-round (52 weeks) with potential for additional project work, paid travel at hourly rate, paid sick time, 401(k) eligibility with employer matching, and a monetary referral program. Requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, operate independently, and maintain reliable Wi-Fi; 18+ with valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle; high school diploma or GED preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
- Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must be a deadline-driven self-starter
- Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi
- Must be tech savvy
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
