Job Summary
Part-time Retail Scan Associate conducts in-store data collection by scanning barcodes across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores for major retailers (Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, etc.). Responsibilities include using a mobile app to scan products, delivering weekly store scans, meeting deadlines, and handling occasional additional hours for special projects. The role emphasizes independence, flexible scheduling, and consistent data collection across stores with typical weekly hours averaging 5–6, and potential 1–2 extra hours per store during busier periods. Required Qualifications
- 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
- Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must be a deadline-driven self-starter
- Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi
- Must be tech savvy
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
