Job Summary
Retail Scan Associate performs in-store data collection across assigned local retailers, scanning product barcodes with a mobile app to support retailer and brand data for sales performance. The role involves visiting multiple store types (grocery, convenience, drug, pet, mass merchandise), typically 2–5 hours per week per store with possible extra hours for special projects, across a 52-week year. Requires independent work, reliability, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, access to reliable Wi‐Fi, and a valid driver’s license with an insured vehicle. Part-time schedule with flexible hours, AI-assisted resume screening during hiring, and a variety of client sites (e.g., Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons).
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
- Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi
- Must be tech savvy
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
