Job Summary
Part-time Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles, across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores, to collect data used to improve sales performance for brands and retailers. Role involves using a mobile app to scan barcodes, 6–12 hours weekly with additional hours for special projects, and collaboration with major retailers (Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, etc.). The position offers flexibility in hours, paid travel at the hourly rate, sick time, 401(k) with employer matching, and a driven, independent work environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
- Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must be a deadline-driven self-starter
- Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi
- Must be tech savvy
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
