Job Summary
Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels using text and social media tools. Build lasting relationships with customers by providing honest feedback on style and fit, while cultivating a customer following. Manage department readiness through filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning. Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts and offer honest product knowledge to build expertise. This role requires continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including lifting items up to 25 pounds. A flexible schedule is necessary, with occasional duties in other departments. - Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
