Job Summary
Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum is responsible for promoting and selling Spectrum products and services to existing and new customers, enhancing the customer experience, identifying sales opportunities, and maintaining knowledge of pricing, promotions, and store standards. The role requires cash handling, comfort with technology, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a flexible retail environment with a focus on meeting sales, service, and operational goals. The position involves maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere, adhering to dress code, and participating in training programs while lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
- High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms and proficiency in computer applications.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks and handle change effectively.
- Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the latest technology and devices.
- 1-5 years of sales/customer service experience.
- 1-3 years of telecommunications/wireless experience.
