Job Summary
Drive vendor sales by consistently demonstrating exceptional selling skills and leveraging product knowledge to educate customers on Kate Spade handbags. Partner with the Customer Experience Manager to identify business-driving opportunities, convert customers into clients, and maintain high customer readiness standards through a clean, neat store environment. Execute shortage prevention initiatives and perform other customer-facing, vendor-specific duties as needed. Full-time colleagues work 30+ hours per week with flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays. Requires high school diploma, one year retail experience, and comfort with RF equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year previous merchandising or retail experience
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers and all levels of management
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and the ability to use a calculator
- Self-starter
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have good time management skills
- Ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner
- Must be comfortable with the use of computers and frequent use of RF equipment
- Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
- Must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders occasionally
- Must be able to reach above eye level
- Must have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Must be able to lift/move at least 30lbs
