Retail Sales Specialist - Ethnic Foods (Bilingual)

Job Summary
Build strong relationships with Hispanic and conventional grocery retailers by conducting regular store visits to identify sales opportunities, review product assortments, and support merchandising execution. Drive sales growth across Grocery, Produce, Meat, Deli, Bakery, and General Merchandise departments while promoting company programs, new products, and Hispanic-focused offerings. Collaborate with internal teams to implement business initiatives, communicate special buys and rebates, and develop sales activity reports and performance scorecards. Provide market intelligence on competitive activity and emerging consumer preferences, then travel throughout the assigned market to meet retailers and attend trade events.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to retail locations on a regular basis
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business needs require, including travel to retailer locations, meetings, and events
- Ability to drive for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions while traveling between locations
Desired Qualifications
- Three to five years of grocery retail, merchandising, food distribution sales, wholesale grocery, retail counseling, or related industry experience
- Hispanic grocery retail experience
