Job Summary
Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using text and social media tools. Build lasting relationships with customers by providing honest feedback on style and fit, while cultivating a customer following digitally and in-store. Fill orders, stock, re-merchandise, manage price markdowns, and perform light cleaning to keep the department customer-ready. Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts and grow relationships through networking and technology. Work with the team to maintain a customer-ready environment. This role involves continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including lifting items up to 25 pounds. The position requires excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Pay ranges from $12.60 to $12.60 hourly with commissions typically between 3% and 14.5% depending on merchandise. - Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
