Job Summary
Greet customers upon entry and exit, demonstrating friendliness while managing merchandise displays, sets, and rotation per company standards. Ensure every item has a SKU and correct pricing, then receive shipments, stock freight, and assist cashiers as needed. Conduct daily negative on hands and weekly plant dumps, perform cycle counts, and address safety concerns and signing issues immediately. Communicate daily with location management and department personnel to maintain a clean, safe environment. Complete required training for all equipment and tools at the store level.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
