Job Summary
Welcome customers and politely offer solutions for NRG electricity and gas services while engaging consumers about lowering their energy costs. Collaborate with your team to accomplish monthly sales goals by assessing needs, suggesting products, and building customer confidence. Accurately document and report all sales activity to Retail Operations and maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times. Meet established weekly and monthly sales quotas and ensure customer satisfaction based on rejection percentages. Submit all paperwork completely and accurately while maintaining customer confidentiality. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in retail store, kiosk, or event environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
- Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
