Job Summary
Engage with consumers at local retailers, kiosks, and events to promote NRG electricity and gas services while helping customers lower energy costs. Welcome visitors, assess their needs, and suggest appropriate products to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas. Collaborate with team members to accomplish goals, accurately document and report all sales activity, and maintain a clean, organized work station. Submit paperwork completely and adhere to a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
- Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
