Job Summary
Welcome customers, offer assistance, and escort them to displays to assess needs and suggest products that fit. Engage consumers about NRG electricity and gas services, helping them lower energy costs by uncovering desires and overcoming objections. Collaborate with team members to accomplish sales goals, accurately document transactions, and report all activity to Retail Operations. Maintain work stations, submit paperwork completely, and meet monthly sales quotas while ensuring customer satisfaction. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in local retailer, kiosk, or event environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
- Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
