Job Summary
Greet customers warmly, deliver personalized service, and invite them to return while meeting individual and store sales goals. Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing gift shop adhering to merchandising standards and hospital infection prevention requirements. Accurately process transactions for cash, credit cards, payroll deductions, and hospital charge accounts; balance and verify cash drawers at shift start and end, promptly reporting any discrepancies. Build positive relationships with hospital staff, volunteers, patients, and visitors while representing Cloverkey professionally. Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a collaborative team environment. Complete required hospital occupational health screenings and onboarding before starting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic math skills for processing transactions
- Ability to stand during scheduled shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in gifts sales or a related field is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products
