Job Summary
Conduct daily retail sales and customer service at Road Runner Sports stores, driving in-store sales through personalized product recommendations and merchandising. Manage inventory and maintain an immaculate workplace while utilizing tools and training to consistently hit sales goals and earn bonuses. Provide exceptional customer experiences to help clients find their Perfect Fit on their journey to a healthier lifestyle, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $17.00 to $22.00, including bonus potential and discounts on all gear. Join a team of 52 stores recognized as the 2023 Footwear Retailer of the Year.
Required Qualifications
- Reliability and flexible schedule availability (Will include a combination of days, evenings, holidays, and must be available on weekends)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or sales
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to make your customers feel valued
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends depending upon the needs of the business
- Ability to perform the basic functions of the job
- Effective interpersonal communication skills in both verbal and written format
- Must demonstrate an openness to feedback and ability to be open minded and adaptable to changing priorities

Desired Qualifications
- Seasoned salesperson (10+ years exp) preferred
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and 1 year of related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of the education and experience
- Minimum of 1+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail selling culture is preferred
- Seasoned salesperson (10+ years exp) preferred
- Leadership skills including: Excellent customer experience behaviors, a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, creative problem solving and sound decision making skills, effective delegation and validation and the ability to efficiently execute daily priorities
