Job Summary
Conduct retail sales and customer service at Road Runner Sports stores, helping clients achieve healthier lifestyles while driving in-store revenue. Manage merchandise displays and maintain an immaculate workplace, utilizing training tools to consistently hit sales goals and earn bonuses. Fit Experts and Sales Leads must work flexible schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends, demonstrating reliability and agility in a fast-paced specialty retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Reliability and flexible schedule availability (Will include a combination of days, evenings, holidays, and must be available on weekends)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or sales
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to make your customers feel valued
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends depending upon the needs of the business
- Ability to perform the basic functions of the job
- Effective interpersonal communication skills in both verbal and written format
- Must demonstrate an openness to feedback and ability to be open minded and adaptable to changing priorities
- After acceptance of a potential offer, the successful completion of a background check will be required prior to start date
Desired Qualifications
- Seasoned salesperson (10+ years exp) preferred
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and 1 year of related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of the education and experience
- Minimum of 1+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail selling culture is preferred
- Seasoned salesperson (10+ years exp) preferred
- Desire to lead by example while inspiring those around you to be their BEST
- Leadership skills including: Excellent customer experience behaviors, a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, creative problem solving and sound decision making skills, effective delegation and validation and the ability to efficiently execute daily priorities
