Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's is a part-time role focused on welcoming customers, helping them find products and solutions for home improvement, answering questions, and delivering friendly, professional service. Duties vary by department and include assisting customers with locating merchandise, restocking and replenishing shelves, processing orders and deliveries, and potentially loading merchandise. The position may involve cross-training in multiple store areas (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Nursery, Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, Pro Services) and performing department-specific tasks (e.g., tinting/mixing paint, cutting pipes or wood, bundling materials, cutting drywall or blinds). The role requires basic computer and retail-technology proficiency, the ability to stand or sit for extended periods, and the capability to lift at least 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
