Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you will welcome customers, help them find the right products and services for home improvement needs, answer questions, and provide friendly, professional service. Daily tasks include assisting customers with locating merchandise, stocking and replenishing, processing orders and deliveries, and grooming department merchandise. You may work across departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Nursery, Hardware, Tools, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, etc.) and participate in cross-training to deliver great service. The role requires standing for extended periods, occasional loading of merchandise, and the ability to lift at least 25 lbs. Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience (Preferred)
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) (Preferred)
