Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's greets customers, helps them locate and select products, answers questions, processes orders and deliveries, and may stock or load merchandise. Works across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services; provides friendly service, assists with shopping guidance, and performs other duties as assigned. Requires ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25lbs, basic computer skills, and willingness to train in multiple areas. Emphasizes bilingual capability and potential certification in trades related to department.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Preferred Qualifications 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
