Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's greets customers, helps them find right products and services for home improvement needs, answers questions, and delivers friendly service. Responsibilities include assisting customers with locating and handling merchandise, stocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, cross-training in other departments to enhance service, and preparing department merchandise (e.g., tinting paint, cutting materials) to meet customer needs. The role involves guiding customers through shopping or checkout and performing other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Experience in retail and/or customer service (preferred)
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) (preferred)
- Bilingual abilities encouraged
- Travel not required or minimal
- Teamwork and customer service focus
- Ability to process orders and handle merchandise efficiently
- Flexibility with shifts and ability to perform duties across departments
