Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's drives the customer experience by welcoming shoppers, helping them locate and select home improvement products, and ensuring any needs are met. Responsibilities span assisting across departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, Pro Services), stocking and replenishing merchandise, processing orders and deliveries accurately, and possible cross-training in other areas to deliver best-in-class service. The role emphasizes listening to customers, answering questions, guiding purchases, and maintaining organized merchandise while adapting to department-specific tasks; opportunities include loading merchandise and supporting store operations. Key skills include strong communication, basic math, computer/tablet use, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift/safely handle items up to 75 lbs with team lifting as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
