Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you will welcome customers, help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs, and provide friendly, professional service. Responsibilities include engaging with customers throughout the day, answering questions, assisting with locating and handling merchandise, restocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment, and collaborating with other departments as needed. You may be cross-trained in other areas to deliver the best customer service. You may prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds) and guide customers through shopping or checkout. The role emphasizes customer interaction, problem-solving, and maintaining well-organized displays, with duties varying by department and the need to meet customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
