Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's responsible for welcoming customers, helping them find the right products and services, answering questions, processing orders and deliveries, stocking and organizing merchandise, and supporting multiple departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, Pro Services). Role involves assisting customers throughout the shopping/checkout experience, guiding product selections, and performing other duties as needed. Opportunities to cross-train in other areas, tint/mix paint, cut/shape items (pipe, wood, drywall, blinds), and contribute to a helpful store environment with focus on customer service and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology (e.g., smartphones, tablets)
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Certifications in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials) are preferred
