Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's focused on welcoming customers, helping them find products, answering questions, and delivering friendly service. Responsibilities include assisting customers with locating and handling merchandise, stocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, cross-training in other store areas, preparing department merchandise (e.g., tinting/mixing paint, cutting/processing pipes, trimming/building materials), guiding customers through shopping or checkout, and performing other duties as assigned across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, Paint, and Pro Services. Emphasizes engagement with customers to solve home improvement challenges and maintain store standards.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
