Job Summary
Retail Sales – Part Time at Lowe's. As a Customer Service Associate, welcome customers and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. Responsibilities include assisting customers, locating and handling merchandise, stocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, cross-training in other departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, Pro Services), and guiding customers through shopping or checkout. Requires contributing to friendly, professional service and supporting department needs, with opportunities for skill development and benefits such as health insurance options, tuition assistance, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and associate discounts. Minimum qualifications include basic computer and retail tech proficiency, and ability to perform duties including standing, lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance as needed; travel not required. This role emphasizes customer engagement, problem solving, and merchandise preparation across various store departments.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
