Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's helps customers find products and solutions for home improvement needs. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, answering questions, locating and handling merchandise, checking stock, processing orders and deliveries accurately, replenishing shelves, and cross-training in other store departments to enhance service. The role involves assisting customers across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Decor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services, with emphasis on friendly, professional service, problem-solving, and effective product guidance. Requires basic computer skills, familiarity with retail technology, and ability to perform duties that may involve standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 pounds with team assistance), and light loading of merchandise. Six months of retail or customer service experience is preferred; bilingual ability and trade certifications in relevant departments are bonus qualifications.
