Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's greets and assists customers, helps them find products and services for home improvement, processes orders and deliveries, and maintains merchandise across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, answering questions, locating and replenishing merchandise, cross-training in other areas, preparing department merchandise (e.g., tinting/mixing paint, cutting pipes, wood, drywall, blinds), guiding customers through shopping or checkout, and performing other duties as assigned. Required skills include basic computer/retail technology experience, ability to stand/sit for extended periods, and the ability to lift up to 25lbs (with/without accommodation). Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
