Job Summary
Retail Sales – Part Time role at Lowe's as a Customer Service Associate. You will welcome customers, help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs, assist with locating and handling merchandise, replenish stock, process orders and deliveries, and cross-train in other departments to deliver excellent customer service. The role involves working in a store environment across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services, with duties that may vary by department. Candidates should have basic computer skills, experience with retail technology, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–75 lbs depending on role. Bilingual abilities and trade-certifications are preferred, and Lowe’s emphasizes growth, teamwork, and customer-first service.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Travel requirements: none specified beyond occasional travel to meetings/trainings if needed (not a primary requirement)
- Bi-lingual skills (preferred)
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) (preferred)
