Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's focusing on welcoming customers, helping them find products and services for home improvement, answering questions, and delivering friendly service. Responsibilities include assisting customers in selecting merchandise, stocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, cross-training in multiple departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Nursery, Hardware, Tools, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, etc.), and supporting department-specific tasks (e.g., tinting/mixing paint, cutting/packing materials). Emphasis on listening to customers, addressing their needs, and providing professional assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Required Qualifications
- Six Months Experience using a computer
- Six Months Experience using common retail technology
- Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
- Able to stand for long periods and lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
