Job Summary
Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service while helping shoppers locate and select home improvement products. Replenish down stock by identifying empty shelf areas, process orders and deliveries accurately, and prepare merchandise such as tinting paint or cutting wood based on customer needs. Cross-functionally train in other store areas to support overall service delivery. Perform duties that may require prolonged standing, lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted, and working in varying weather conditions. This part-time role supports Lowe's mission to help customers solve home improvement challenges across departments including appliances, flooring, and tools.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Bi-lingual skills
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
