Retail Sales – Part Time (Bilingual Preferred)

Job Summary
Welcome customers, answer product questions, and help shoppers find and select items for home improvement needs. Replenish merchandise by locating empty shelf areas, process orders and deliveries accurately, and prepare specific tasks like tinting paint or cutting wood. Train cross-functionally across departments such as appliances, flooring, or plumbing to support store operations. Occasionally travel to meetings or neighboring stores. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a 10% associate discount, and tuition assistance. Bilingual skills are preferred, and candidates must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Must be available for occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
