Job Summary
Maximize sales floor and fitting room productivity while managing MOD shifts and daily store operations. Motivate and train associates to uphold O'Neill's core values, service standards, and Guest First culture. Execute visual and operational procedures including shipment processing, merchandising moves, and ensuring fitting rooms remain guest-ready. Provide real-time coaching, set clear goals, and celebrate team performance to drive engagement. Maintain store safety, asset protection, and policy adherence. Requires flexible availability to work when guests shop, multi-tasking skills, and ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to see well enough to read reports, schedules, and point-of-sale screens.
- Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate effectively with customers and employees in a retail environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk on the sales floor for extended periods of time, up to 85% or more of the assigned shift.
- Must be able to climb, reach, bend, stoop, and kneel to stock merchandise and access product on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to operate a cash register, handle merchandise, and use standard store equipment.
