Job Summary
Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment, including maintaining a professional and impeccably clean space. Lead by example in all company operations to foster superior client service while meeting personal sales expectations. Establish clear goals for Team Members and provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance. Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue, expenses, and labor costs. Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity. Work nights and weekends in a 5-day schedule of approximately 35 to 45 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously
- Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to work nights & weekends
- Ability to work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status
