Job Summary
Lead the sales floor and manage team performance by consistently coaching, training, and recognizing staff to achieve sales and profitability goals. Maintain a branded store experience through visual execution, standards, and recovery while ensuring the delivery of a WOW customer experience. Assess business trends using reporting to problem-solve opportunities, validate omni-channel and loyalty initiatives, and organize all visual merchandising. Effectively open and close the store, conduct quality reviews, and manage labor flex to meet business needs. Address employee concerns and support inventory and safety protocols. Requires a high school diploma with preferred associate's degree and one year of leadership experience in specialty retail. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and 1 year of related experience
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail selling culture
- Leadership skills including: Excellent customer experience behaviors, a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, creative problem solving and sound decision making skills, effective delegation and validation and the ability to efficiently execute daily priorities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends depending upon the needs of the business
- Ability to perform the basic functions of the job
- Effective interpersonal communication skills in both verbal and written format
- Demonstrate an openness to feedback and ability to be open minded and adaptable to changing priorities
- Availability and flexibility to scheduling of the needs of the business including irregular hours and evenings and weekends
- Must demonstrate an openness to feedback and ability to be open minded and adaptable to changing priorities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
