Job Summary
Provide exceptional guest service while supporting store management in day-to-day operations at the Missouri Botanical Garden Gift Shop. Engage with guests to create entertaining, memorable experiences by proactively intercepting customers, demonstrating product features, and ensuring the best shopping environment. Maintain strong merchandising skills and handle cash transactions as a key leader in this seasonal retail role. Work irregular schedules including weekdays, weekends, evenings through 10:30pm, and holidays. Must be 18 years or older with prior retail supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail keyholder, retail supervisory, cash-handling, and customer service experience
- Strong merchandising skills
- Ability to work irregular schedules on weekdays, weekends, evenings through 10:30pm, and holidays
- Must naturally enjoy interacting with people of all ages
- Ability to proactively intercept, engage, and demonstrate product to customers in a positive, welcoming and outgoing manner
- Ability to effectively communicate product features
- Must be welcoming, positive, engaging and friendly towards our guests, team members, and venue staff
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Ability to occasionally use ladders
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
