Job Summary
Lead the in-store golf department by delivering exceptional customer service, directing teammates, and ensuring brand standards are met through merchandising, signage, and inventory presentation. Plan and control 30-day schedules with the Assistant Store Manager to align workforce on daily assignments, game plans, and store events. Build a strong team by observing interviews, conducting department tours, and training new and current teammates on company procedures. Prioritize coaching, develop talent, and lead by example to foster an inclusive environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and safe. Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures while supporting store leadership across all operational tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
Desired Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
- Golf experience preferred.
