Job Summary
Retail Sales Lead at DICK’S Sporting Goods responsible for modeling leadership in store by guiding department execution, ensuring brand standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. Leads by example to coach teammates, assists with interviewing and onboarding, trains on procedures and programs, and helps plan staffing and daily tasks. Maintains merchandising and presentation standards, supports loss prevention, and creates an inclusive, safe store environment aligned to company goals and a compelling shopping experience.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
