Job Summary
The Lead is the in-store expert for their department, guiding brand standards and the teammate experience under store management. Responsibilities include helping with interviews and onboarding, coaching and developing teammates, planning daily and 30-day work plans, delegating tasks by priority, maintaining merchandising and presentation standards, and ensuring store procedures are followed. The role emphasizes building an inclusive, collaborative environment, delivering exceptional customer service, and aligning teammate activities with organizational goals. Key skills include leadership by example, people development, coaching, training, effective communication, adaptability to a flexible schedule, knowledge of loss prevention, scorecards, and-store programs such as Protection Plans. The position requires flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays) and the ability to perform physical tasks (standing, lifting). This role supports the store leadership team in operations, training, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability including nights, weekend, and holidays
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. repeatedly
- Capacity to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder or elevated platforms
