Job Summary
Retail Sales Lead at DICK’S Sporting Goods coordinates and leads in-store execution of brand standards and teammate development. The role involves coaching and training teammates, participating in interviews and onboarding, planning workforce needs with store leadership, ensuring merchandising and presentation standards, delegating tasks, and creating an inclusive, customer-focused store environment. The Lead guides daily operations, supports loss prevention and safety procedures, and drives an exceptional shopping experience by aligning team efforts with store goals.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour)
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)
