Job Summary
Retail Sales Lead at Dick's Sporting Goods role focused on in-store leadership within the department, mentoring teammates, coordinating staffing and tasks, upholding merchandising and store standards, delivering exceptional customer service, and training teammates. The Lead collaborates with store leadership to build a strong team, observes interviews, promotes an inclusive store environment, and ensures adherence to safety and loss-prevention procedures while driving brand initiatives and store events.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
