Job Summary
Retail Sales Lead at Dick's Sporting Goods in Van Voorhis, PA. Leads by example to deliver exceptional shopping experiences, uphold brand and merchandising standards, train and onboard teammates, coach staff, and contribute to a people-first culture. Responsibilities include observing in-store interviews, assisting with team-building and hiring, planning daily/weekly workflows with store leadership, ensuring floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation meet standards, and maintaining store safety and loss-prevention procedures. Requires flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays) and ability to stand, lift up to 35 lbs, and perform physical tasks typical of a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
