Job Summary
Retail Sales Lead at DICK’S Sporting Goods overseeing store branding execution and teammate experience. The Lead acts as in-store expert for their department, guiding teammates, modeling customer-focused service, and ensuring adherence to merchandising standards, floor-set execution, inventory presentation, and replenishment. Responsibilities include supporting store leadership with interviewing and onboarding, building a people-first culture, planning with the Assistant Store Manager, coaching teammates, and fostering an inclusive environment where both teammates and customers feel welcome and safe. The role emphasizes leadership by example, collaboration, coaching, and alignment to organizational goals to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
