Job Summary
Lead a retail team in Dick’s Sporting Goods store, ensuring brand standards and a positive teammate experience. The role involves directing store teammates, helping with hiring and onboarding, coaching and developing staff, planning daily and 30-day work plans, maintaining merchandising and presentation standards, implementing loss-prevention procedures, and driving an inclusive, customer-focused shopping experience. Requires flexible availability, prior retail or customer-focused experience, physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 lbs, and the ability to work heights and perform repetitive motions. Demonstrates leadership by example, communicates effectively, trains teammates, and aligns tasks with store goals.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
