Lead in-store operations for a DICK'S Sporting Goods location, overseeing brand standards and the teammate experience. The Lead acts as the in-store expert of their department, delivering the best service to customers, guiding teammates, and leading by example with a collaborative, empathetic approach. Responsibilities include participating in hiring/interviews, onboarding and cross-training teammates, coaching for performance and development, planning and organizing daily actions with management, ensuring merchandising and presentation standards, enforcing safety and loss-prevention procedures, and creating an inclusive store environment where both teammates and customers feel welcome and safe. The role requires flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays) and the ability to stand, lift, and perform other physical tasks as part of store operations.
