Job Summary
Retail Sales Lead at Dick's Sporting Goods leading in-store operations, coaching teammates, upholding brand standards, merchandising execution, and fostering an inclusive, customer-focused environment. Responsible for assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training, planning workload with store leadership, delegating tasks, and ensuring a top-tier shopping experience through collaboration, communication, and adherence to policies. Emphasis on leadership, development of teammates, and alignment to organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
