Retail Sales Floor Leader at BevMo! by Gopuff drives store sales and profitability by leading daily operations, delivering an excellent customer experience, guiding staff, managing inventory and budgets, and ensuring compliance with policies and alcohol regulations. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, maintaining a strong leadership presence on the sales floor, opening/closing procedures, cash handling and POS management, achieving sales targets through selling and merchandising, collaborating with store support teams to expand product categories, monitoring inventory to prevent stockouts/overstock, training and coaching staff, ensuring accurate pricing and signage, receiving vendor deliveries, controlling inventory levels within budget, enforcing health, safety, and security policies, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. Skills and competencies include financial acumen, problem solving, relationship management, influence and negotiation, planning and prioritization, and strong communication. Qualifications include 3+ years of management experience, retail or hospitality management experience (preferred), wine/spirits/beer knowledge (preferred), ability to work full-time (nights/weekends/holidays), knowledge of alcohol regulatory requirements, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
